I love your best…ever series ever since I´ve discovered it. Your introductions are always funny and amusing to read, and the recipes are extra special. As I´m crazy for all things caramelized, I love the cheese sandwich with the onions.
Sinced you asked for suggestions: how about more savory tarts? An unusual tarte Tatin maybe? Steak recipes? These are my favorite things to cook. Maybe you like the ideas. Warmest greetings from Paris, Sabine.

Some fantastic food in this list. My favourite recipes are not just about the smell and taste but about the feelings they evoke and the memories they bring back. Such as the meals my Gran used to cook like her breast of lamb stew or the first the first meal I cooked for my wife, a trout with citrus fruit and almonds.

I still regularly refer to your nutella banana bread recipe. It’s so delicious and easy to make! Though I’ve altered the recipe a little and use half regular flour, half whole-wheat :)

Also – as a PS to my previous comment – more recipes that are refined sugar free, but still delicious. I have a real sweet tooth and love treats – but refined sugar makes me feel horrible. It’s been amazing to discover how you can enjoy naturally sweetened foods packed with nutrients such as raw cakes and cookies, that are secretly good for you too :D

I love your recipes and it’s so good to see a reminder of them all!
I think it would be really awesome to see more plant-based recipes and even raw food ideas. I write about it on my own site if you’d like some inspiration – but these are often really delicious, refreshing and nutritious meals that the whole family can enjoy. I made some fab raw chocolates recently that you might love!

Aaaand now I’m hungry. I can’t believe how simple the four ingredient fudge is to make. I have all those ingredients on hand and I’m going to make a batch soon. Will tag you when I do! I also want to try the grilled cheese, chicken parm meatballs (genius), and the lazy egg and cheese sandwich.

I’m obsessed with no-bake desserts, so that French silk pie looks amazing! I make the no-bake, gluten-free, vegan apple crumb bars all the time. You could swap blueberries for the apple to make them more summery!

So happy to see the egg sandwich in the list. I made one just last night, and have done so SOOOO many times since it was posted. I always picture the author describing her deli/bodega experience with egg and cheese sandwiches and being determined to figure out how to make one as quickly and easily at home. She nailed it, and thanks to her I have, too!

Also, Deb Perelman is literally my culinary hero. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her and am so thrilled to see that her egg sandwich was similarly loved by your readers. Really, everything Deb does is GOLD IN YOUR MOUTH. :-)

I’m cooking thru a Mexican Cookbook (trying to finish in a year) to get back to my roots after visiting family for the first time in Mexico City. Just two weeks ago I made a guacamole with pomegranate seeds, pears and grapes. It was so surprisingly delicious. I never even knew a guacamole style like that existed. Thanks for featuring such a wide variety of foods! I love taking some of those desserts and trying to make them dairy free. Stupid dairy allergy! Imagine . . . not being able to eat cheese!

i have been making a zucchini quesadilla recipe of Martha’s for weeks and loving it. i add cumin or taco seasoning mix to the veggies, and i’ve played with adding in squash, black beans, omitting the corn if i’m out, it’s super customizable. serve with plain greek yogurt mixed with a little pickled jalapeno juice, and a bowl of salsa! unbeatable.

lately our two go-to meals are:
1. sweat shop style summer rolls: i have all the ingredients on hand, varied based on season, in a row and my husband and i will roll our own.
2. sweat shop style tacos: again with all the ingredients on hand, varied based on season, in a row and we stuff our tortillas (that is purchased at our local mexican joint). the main protein is usually lentils.
bonus: sometimes we nix mexican and make it middle eastern by making baked falafels, the concept is the same as above.
